Class of 1972
Air Force, 20+ Years
1st female in the 917th Civil Engineering Squadron at Barksdale AFB, LA in 1976. Had assignments in Reinmein Germany, Hahn AB Germany, Mildenhall England, Soto Cano Honduras, Aviano Italy and numerous stateside. Retired after 33 total years in Georgia. Just can't get hubby convinced to move to Texas.

I join the Air Force a year after graduation (1985), with one year of college under my belt. Over my distinguished 24 years of serves to my country I served all over the US and traveled to many foreign countries. I served tours in Japan and Germany; I also deployed to the middle east. I am retiring this year, June 1, 2009. .

Completed 24 years in the Air Force. Worked in the Information Technology and Communications career field. Served multiple tours in Japan, Korea and Guam. Retired in Sept 08. Loved every minute of it and would do it all over again!

Jared is currently a sargent serving in Oceanside CA. He has served three terms in Iraq where he has earned several metals.

Army, 20+ Years
I joined the Army in June of 1972I retired in July of 1992. I served in Desert Shield / Storm in Dec. of 1990 to April of 1991. I also had 3 tours in Germany and was stationed at Fort Riley KS, Fort Hood Tx, Fort Bragg NC And Fort Gordon GA. I was TDY to several post in the states WI, CA, to name a few. I took Basic Training at Fort Polk LA. My MOS was Communications. I enjoyed my Military Career and would do it all again if i was still young enough.
