About Me	Happiness is the goal in life! Family, friends, love and health are crucial ingredients to being happy. Mike was born and raised in Half Moon Bay, CA. He attended the local public schools and graduated from Half Moon Bay High School in 1990. Mike pursued a career in technology in Silicon Valley for 10 years before starting his own company, Alifano Technologies in 2000. Alifano Technologies focuses on providing leading-edge technology support to all Coastside home users and small businesses. Over the last 14 years Mike has successfully grown his business from a one-man operation to a staff of 15 employees; all of which work and live on the Coastside. Mike, his wife Cortney and father Allan, operate their computer sales and service business at 225 Main St. in downtown Half Moon Bay. Recently Mike was the Technology Chair for FOCUS (Friends of Cabrillo Unified Schools) for the three successful Yes on Measure B (2014) Parcel Tax Campaign Committee, Yes on Measure E (2010) Parcel Tax Campaign Committee and the Yes on Measure S (2012) Facilities Bond Campaign Committee. Following the successful passage of Measure E in 2010 he was appointed to the CUSD Measure E Citizen’s Oversight Committee. In 2012 Mike was appointed to both the Measure S Facilities School Bond Steering Committee and Citizen's Oversight Committee. Currently he is serving as Vice President for the Cabrillo Education Foundation since 2008, Mike is also the past President of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club the Coastside and started as a director in 2008. He also served as a board member with Coastside HOPE 2009-10. Mike served as Vice President of the Coastside Fire Protection District Board of Directors after being appointed as a Director in 2010 and running unopposed in 2011. He is also a committee member of the Coastside Young Professionals, past member of the HMB Police Chief’s Advisory Committee, as well as an active supporter youth education and recreation on the Coastside. Mike and his wife Cortney have a 7 year old daughter named Gianna who attends Hatch Elementary Spanish Immersion. They have a 4 year old son named Nico who will be attend Hatch also in the TK program. He is an avid surfer, SUP and wake board enthusiast and waterman.
