About Me	I taught high school English, directed & coached Drama, and was an Assistant Coach on a Speech Team for 21 years. I raised a son and daughter as a single-parent and married (2004) a retired Army major, Viet Nam veteran, who teaches medieval literature at Northwestern University part-time, and Leadership & Ethics at a private high school near our home. Fortunately, Ray also is a displaced New Yorker (Woodside), so we periodically yearn for a real deli, NY pizza and city lights! Combined, we have a bunch of children, 5 loving cats (most who adopted us), friendly opposums, bunnies and other furry visitors, and we especially enjoy travel and exploration of the western USA.
