About Me | Frank Catalano holds a Masters Degree in Writing from the University of Southern California’s prestigious Professional Writing Program and a second Masters in Asian Drama from the University of Hawaii. He teaches currently at the School of Theatre of the University of Southern California and is part of the Theatre Arts, Film and Social Science faculties at Moorpark College, Pierce College and Pasadena City College. As a playwright, Mr. Catalano has had play productions in New York City, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Hawaii and Dayton, Ohio. American Rose Garden, Cyclotron (La Mama, N.Y.C.), Evolution, Waiting For to Go (Kennedy Center, Hawaii), Saturday Nights. His play Autumn Sweet, was produced by the Dayton Playhouse and was optioned for film by Warner Bros. studios. Autumn Sweet also received staged readings at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and the El Portal Theater in Los Angeles. As a screen writer and actor, Catalano has served in various capacities at Warner Bros. including a "first look" writing deal for the development of television and motion picture properties since 1989. Prior to Warner Bros., he held positions at Lorimar Productions, Beverly Hills Playhouse and Southern California Center for the Arts. He has also written and performed within animated television series and feature films including, "The Adventures of Dynamo Duck" for Fox TV, the Sci-Fi series" Robotech" and "Flint the Time Detective," ABC television series including “LA Law,” “NYPD Blue” and “Ugly Betty.” Frank’s full list of credits can be found on IMDB.COM.
