| About Me | I went to the University of North Alabama on a band scholarship with plans to become a band director. I left UNA my senior year after deciding that even though I enjoy playing drums, teaching music was not the right career choice for me. I became an EMT in 1995 and a Paramedic in 1997. I work full time as a Firefighter for U.S. Steel in Fairfield and work part time as a Paramedic for R.P.S. ambulance service and a dispatcher for the Haleyville Police Department. I am a paid-on-call member of the Haleyville Fire Department and I also work as a Paramedic for the NASCAR races at Talladega Superspeedway. I teach CPR, EMT and Firefighter classes through the Alabama Fire College and I am an Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor through the Alabama Department of Public Health.
