| About Me | I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear......Martin Luther King, Jr. Optimist & perpetual Pollyanna, motivator & cheerleader to those who need it, "Get up, dress up, make-up and LIVE your life", woman's health advocate, providing comic relief & support for those battling the beast that is cancer, champion of those needing a shoulder, a smile or a hand to hold. Volunteer with the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program and other B/C groups. Not a serious person by nature, life is too short not to laugh when you can, even if it's at yourself. After a lifetime in the fashion industry, in 2006 I added breast cancer survivor to my resume....from this I learned more about myself and life in general than I learned in all the previous years of my life and I wouldn't change that experience for anything in the world...Considering organizing my journal & my jumble of thoughts during my cancer journey for publication (my oncologists are insisting...) Tentative title, "I Lost My Breast...I Wonder if I Left it in the Car?" Please don't attempt to "borrow" it, it has been copyrighted...Maybe a stand-up comedy routine of the same name...I am my best audience...Who knows?
