Street Dedication
The Town of Hempstead will be Honoring 1965 Graduate John D. Krische, who was killed in action in Vietnam on Oct. 17, 1967. On Oct. 3, 2008, Munson Ave at the corner of Bell St., In West Hempstead , Will Be renamed PFC John D. Krische Ave. John lived on Nassau Blvd, but always played on Munson Ave. As there are no surviving family, it is requested that any classmates or friends who can attend the ceremony, do so.
