About	She was born April 2, 1955, in Mineola, N.Y., the daughter of Raymond and Doris (Mulkay) Dumont. She graduated from H. Frank Carey High School in 1973. She worked as a branch manager for Barclays Bank and later as a teller at First Vermont Bank. Mrs. Firpo was a volunteer for the Army Community Service. She enjoyed traveling, snowmobile riding, bowling, softball, arts and crafts. Survivors include her husband, Robert Firpo of West Rutland; her son, Michael Firpo of Rutland; a brother, George Dumont; and three sisters, Kathleen Dumont, Christine Jaegli and Caroline Ward, all of New York. The memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget?s Church in West Rutland. A short reception will follow. A private graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the local Multiple Sclerosis Society or St. Bridget?s Church.
