It's Never Too Late To Reach Your Goals
Linda Danaher earned her First Shodan Black Belt in 2011 after a grueling five hour test. Three hours the first night and two hours the next day followed a ceremony. "It was all worth it.", said Linda, "I used to joke that I was taking Geriatric Jujitsu but my Sensei never let me use that as an excuse." Linda stayed with it even though she experienced minor injuries to her neck, shoulder and foot. Her achievement takes determination, focus and lots of hard work. Linda knows that anything that is worth achieving doesn't come easy. She throws men that are twice her size and half her age. Linda remarks, "I figured that if I kept showing up, I was bound to learn something. Now, I'm helping to pass it down and teach others, which is very rewarding."
