| About Me | We do NOT have an accent, just unique slang. We have our own style everyone loves. We're also not New England or the dirty south; we're the Mid Atlantic don't get it twisted. It's soda, not pop. It's a sub, not a hoagie. It's the beach, not the shore; and we drink water, not "wooder." or "wata" It's not "where you's goin'?" it's "where ya'll going." It's pizza, not pie; and we are NOT hicks. We have the second most prosperous BLACK County in the US, which is PG County. We play in DC and rest in MD. It's DC, not Washington; and we know how to get anywhere. We know how to drive aggressively yet cautiously. We know what bad traffic really looks like, how to use a traffic circle, and how to pump our own gas. We know what and where the Naval Academy is. We are the Chocolate City! We love crabs, corn, and beer. We don't think Maryland is the best state in the Nation; we just know it is." You see I'm from "THA AREA" MD, DC, VA. Where females can go to PG Plaza, Pentagon City, or Tyson Corner for their wardrobe and fellas know all about that MCHUNU, BONIDACCI, ALL Da'Z, and SOLBIATO. We are the home of Redskins/Wizards. We know that no matter how many schools the AREA decides to build it will remain overcrowded. We know H2O isn't just water, Dream does not happen while sleeping, and Platinum is not just what people wear---these are clubs!! DC is just around the corner from MD and across the bridge from NOVA. Our parents work for the government and get there by metro, not subway. To us that is a food restaurant. We rock Nike boots, NorthFaces and listen to Go-Go Religiously. BACK is not a part of the body but an infamous go-go band. TCB is not a hair gel, but another well loved go-go band. Liquor stores are open 24 hours and in some cases drive-thru.
