Paul Douglas Wegand, 61, of Brandywine died Dec. 23, 2007, at Inova Hospital, Fairfax, Va. Mr. Wegand was a tile setter in the construction industry. Born Dec. 22, 1946, in Suitland, he was the son of Frederick William Wegand and Viola Setella Walls. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Catherine Wegand; children, Douglas Wegand and Paula Letto; sisters, Patricia and Carolyn; brothers, Frederick, Joseph, David and John Wegand; and grandchildren, Bryan, Lindsey and Daniel. All arrangements were private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Arrangements were handled by Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf.

Paul was drafted into the Army right out of high school & spent several years in Viet Nam. He died of nautral causes.
