George F. Delinski Jr.
Class of 1965
After graduating from Gwynn Park High School, class of 1965, George F. Delinski Jr. accepted a position with The Army Map Service. In 1966 George Delinski transfered to the United States Geological Survey, where he joined the team charged with Mapping the continent of Antarctica. After working with the team from 1966 through 2004 Delinski Glacier was named for George because of his consistent and quality work in the mapping of Antarctica.
