| About | Joe Bob Edward Christopher Tuesday, 04 November 2008 Joe Bob Edward Christopher, 35, was called back home on October 30, 2008. He died in Edmond, Oklahoma after battling cancer for five months. Joe Bob was born to Sheryl Diann Winters Christopher on February 22, 1973 in Greensburg, Kansas. Joe Bob attended Guymon schools and was a member of the Class of 1991. He attended OPSU in Goodwell, Oklahoma and Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Joe Bob was an artist, whether it be in the kitchen, on canvas or on the bass guitar. He worked as a carpenter and a chef. He had attended the Victory Church in Warr Acres, Oklahoma. “Rockin, Rollin, Living the Dream - We all knew he was too perfect for this world – Say goodbye, don’t follow†He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irvin and Betty Winters, and his mother, Sheryl Christopher who died July 21, 1992. Survivors include aunts and uncles, Charlotte and Jim Behne, Brenda and Jim Noland, Irvin Winters and Jimmy Winters, all of Guymon; cousins and their families, Monna Behne, Jenny and Sheldon Spence, and Braxton Winters, all of Guymon; and Melissa and Aaron Behne of San Diego, California; and special friends, Toya and Brandon Edwards of Edmond, Oklahoma. A celebration of Joe Bob’s life will be Wednesday morning, November 5th at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene, Guymon with Rev. Terry Armstrong officiating. Cremation and services are under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
