Was a aircraft safety systems technician on 4 different Navy aircraft over my 20 year period, P-3 Orion Submarine hunters, A6 Intruder Carrier borne bomber, DC9 Skytrain troop transport and logistic support and FA18 Hornet fighter/bomber. Systems included: Ejection seats, anti-G systems (systems that prevent pilot blackout during high "G" maneuvers), Liquid and gaseous oxygen systems, flight gear, helmets, oxygen masks, Cabin pressurization, wing anti-icing, windshield wash and avionic cooling systems.
