About Me	Inquired about joining Marine Corps in March '01, but lost the nerve to enlist. Became Assistant Manger of Mcdonalds in 2004. Decided to join Marine Corps in April 2005 but was banned for having too many tattoos. Enlisted in US Army on 30 January 2006, exactly 30 years after my father enlisted with the US Navy to the day. Left on 28 March 2006 for Fort Benning, GA with a Special Forces Contract. I then broke my hip on 28 April 2008, recieving surgery and three pins two days after the injury. I went through three months of physical therapy, then returned to Infantry training to pursue my Special Forces Contract. Broke my left ankle during a PT Test on my birthday. Returned to physical therapy for four more months. Rather than be discharged for disability, I chose to change jobs. Arrived to Fort Eustis, VA on 30 March 2007. Arrested for DUI on 12 August 2007, and demoted to from E-3 to E-2 on 17 Sept 2007. Promoted to E-4 on 1 June 2008. Deployed to Iraq on 11 Sept 2008. Inducted into the Non-Commissioned Officers Corps on 12 October 2008....(read more)
