About	Chris Smock passed away due to skin cancer on September 15, 2008 in South Carolina. Services were conducted there the 18th. A local Memorial will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home on Gulf Breeze Parkway Saturday, October 4th at 4 p.m. with a gathering at his mother's house afterward. Also in remembrance, courtesy of Craig Walker, "Smock's" #80 will be worn on the helmets of GBHS football players at the Homecoming game Friday night the 3rd.
