Don passed away peacefully the evening of March 21, 2024, in his sister's home after being transported back to Rockford from Tennessee. For many years, he suffered physical and mental ailments resulting from his service in the Gulf War. As he neared his end, he desperately wanted to return to Rockford where he could be near family. After only 30 hours of end-of-life care, he left us to join his brother, David, who had passed in 2019. We will miss him dearly.
