William C Martin
Class of 1970
Went yo Rock Valley
And on to IL Wesleyan to finish my BFA in Drama then attended Wayne State for my MFA in Speech/Theatre. Moved to NYC in Feb 1977 in the midst of a huge snow storm and had to hang out in Toledo until the roads were cleared (lol). I built my career in NYC, London and LA over the next 40 years . Worked on many well received Bway shows, then more focus on The Dance and Music
With Martha Graham, Isamu Nagochi and Joseph Campbell. Shows Phantom, Cats, Les Miz , Miss Saigon, and expanded into Direction, Arts Marketing as well as teaching and as a writer. Very exciting but I missed out on one thing: no time to develop a relationship so other than my mom (98). I’m alone because my friends and colleagues have passed or MIA: I make my home in Connecticut. I have a great dog and her name is Liza!
