| About Me | I had a few aimless years after graduation. It took me a long time to recover from the death of my youngest brother, Ben, in '89. I had a short lived marriage and a son in '94. I married my husband, Chris, in 2000 and the Marine Corps quickly moved us to Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. We welcomed a daughter in 2001 and settled in to a comfortable, quiet life. We were still living in Biloxi when Katrina swept through town. Life in the aftermath of the hurricane was a surreal experience. I was profoundly affected by the widespread devastation and resolved to return to school to earn a degree in history/ preservation. We were moved to Yuma, AZ in 2006 and I returned to school. As a family, we enjoy riding dirtbikes and playing music together. My husband plays the bass, my son the banjo and guitar, and I play the fiddle.
