Favorite School Memory	Arm wrestling Akile Perry during a lunch time activity and loosing miserably. Playing at Qualcomm stadium for the 1997 CIF baseball championship. Hitting a homerun my last at-bat as a foothiller.
About Me	After highschool I went to Grossmont College and transferred to UCSB where I graduated with a degree in Psychology. After college I traveled to Europe, the Middle East, and Central America. In 2005 I entered graduate school at CSU Long Beach to pursue my masters in Physical Therapy. While in my masters I was involved with the Sudan Divestment Campaign and President of the Darfur Action League at CSU Long Beach where we worked on divestiture of our Foundation to help end the genocide in Darfur Sudan Africa. I also worked with Stand Up For Kids Long Beach, a program to help homeless teens get back on their feet. After graduating in 2010 I moved back to San Diego and was fortunate to land a position at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas in the outpatient orthopaedic department. I took up a specialty in orthopaedics in 2017 and am now a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. I love practicing physical therapy and my career is very fulfilling but the call of the open road is strong.
