About	Dale Waasted 3/6/1956 - 2/14/2017 Dale Waasted was born March 6, 1956 in San Diego to Robert and Marian (passed away) Waasted. The youngest of 3 boys - Dave & Dean (passed away May 2016) Dale is also survived by his wife Julie. His love for family, his love of sports, growing up he strived to be the best at everything he did including playing football from grade school through college, a Tight End to be reckoned with, he was happiest when his friends and family were there to support him. Throughout the years, he was the type of friend you could go 25 years with out talking but the minute you got in touch again, you could pick up as if you had just seen him yesterday. As an adult Dale consciously decided that life was worth living and not fighting over petty stuff, his wife tried to have a verbal fight with him once in their first year of marriage and all he could do was laugh and state "we are not going to fight over this" that was the first and last fight they had in their 25 years together. He also had a love for his sunglasses and ball cap, even after falling ill the first thing he would ask for is where is my glasses and ball cap. Dale had a very kind and loving heart, it seems everyone who met him was given a piece of Dales heart. Throughout the years, he was the type of friend you could go 25 years with out talking but the minute you got in touch again, you could pick up as if you had just seen him yesterday. A private burial at sea off the Oahu coast was held on 3/6/2017.
