Escondido, Calif.– Ann Braun, who has helped raise more than $500 million over the past decade in support of medical education, research and other major causes, has been appointed Palomar Pomerado Health Foundation’s Chief Fundraising Officer. She starts April 16, 2012.
Ms. Braun most recently served as the Senior Associate Dean of Development and Alumni Relations at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) – helping to raise more than $100 million in private support annually. Prior to her position at the Keck School of Medicine, she was Associate Dean of Development and Alumni Affairs at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Her extensive background includes positions as Major Gifts Officer at the University of Michigan Medical School, and at Berkshire Hathaway’s World Book Educational Products Company, where she managed the Michigan and
