About	Ryan Thomas Gergely, born and raised as an islander, and in GIHS Senior Class of 2006. Died at the age of 23. Survived by his family who are also Island Alums, Bret and Linda Gergely Class of 2000 and 2001, Cousin Felice Bernardara Class of 2002, and Eric and Angela Bernardara 1994, 1998, as well as his uncle William Billy Bernardara Jr, class of 1996. Grosse Ile family to the core, and son of island business owner Valerie Gergely, Bill Bernardara (Class of 1996) Jr.'s older sister. Resident of Wyandotte, Ryan Thomas Gergely remained active in the island community, working at the family business, Island Coney, since its opening in 2007 until his death in 2011. He will be missed by many.
