About	My close friend since childhood passed away January 15. Her maiden name was Kathy Keegan and she graduated with me from Griswold High in the class of 1973. She was married to Jim Walsh and about 5 years ago moved to Florida. A few months ago she found out she had lung cancer. She tried to be optomistic and went through the chemo to find it did not help. The cancer metastasized to her spine, and she quickly took a turn for the worse. She passed away on January 15, so much sooner than anyone suspected. Anyone who knew Kathy will remember her as being a wonderful person. She was kind to everyone and the best friend a person could ask for. I will miss her with all my heart. It is still shocking that she is gone so quickly. There will be a Memorial service for her in CT in the next few weeks. Anyone wanting information can contact me here. Please do.
