I enlisted in the Air Force at 17 and left for boot camp Aug ^th 1969. I never had to sign up for the draft.After basic traning I went to Chanute AFB in Rantoul IL for tech school. I trained for Jet over two engine Mechanic. After graduation I wen to Wright Patterson Afb In Dayton Ohio, where I worked on B52 Aircraft. From the I wen to UtapaoThailand. From ther I went ot Altus AFB Oklahoma. There I cross trained to Maintenance plans and Scheduling. While there I went back to Thailand to reopen a base that had been closed for some time. Upon return to Altus I was reassigned to Grissom AFB Indiana. While there I remarried. In 1975 I recieved orders to Germany, from 1975 to 1978 I was stationed at Rhein Mein AFB Franfort Germany. Returning to Plattsburgh AFB in upstae New York. While ther I had temporary duty to several places. I left New York and was reassigne to Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio. In 1985 I was reassigned to Osan AFB Korea. Upon return I was reassigned it Luke AFB Arizona where I stayed until I retired in 1993. I served for 24 years 24 days. I am a Viet Nam and Desert Storm veteran. I went to Saudia Arabia in 1991 and returned back to Luke in 1992. I had the opportunity to go to many countries while in the Air Force, such as Germany, Italy, Guam. Japan, Okinawa, Philipines, Diego Garcia, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Spain Saudia Arabia, Kuiat, , I may have left some out. I have been to all fifty states in my travels. Upon my retirement from the Air Force I stayed in Arizona. I am now employed with The United States Postal Service . I have 15 years with them So basically I have almost 40 uera of federal government service.

Officer Basic Training was at Ft. Sam Houston, TX, 1972. Stationed at Ft. Harrison, IN, 1972-73; stationed at the 130th Station Hospital, Heidelberg, Germany, 1973-75. Honorable discharge in 1975 as a Captain, Army Nurse Corps.(I was married at the time, so my DD214 has my married name, Ginczycki.)

Drafted in '66. Sent to 25th Infantry Division, Cu Chi, SVN (what the heck is a Cu Chi? That's kind of what I said when I found out where I was going). After a year I extended my tour for another 6 months (I was a little crazy back then). Survived and got out late in '68.

Commissioned as a Naval Officer after graduation from Purdue. Went through Pensacola flight training and served as a Navy pilot in Vietnam, flew P3s in anti-submarine warfare (ASW) missions, became a test pilot for several years, earned a Doctorate in Aeronautical Engineering and worked with the Navy Space Program until Navy retirement in 1986. Then spent the next 30 years as an Aerospace contractor and consultant until full retirement.

I was drafted and entered the Army in Sep 1967. Basic Training was at Fort Bragg, NC, and Infantry AIT at Fort Dix, NJ. After a cycle as a drill corporal, I was sent to the 5th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, CO, where we trained for deployment to Vietnam where I worked as a medic for a year.
