| About | I tried contacting him in January 2022 through his sister Laura Destjean and she told me he passed away in 1998. It was listed in the NWTimes which includes Griffith for the details but you have to be a paid subscriber to see all of the obituary. If someone who subscribes to the online paper can google it for all of the details. |

Mark A. Lange, 42, of Salem, Connecticut, formerly of Griffith, Indiana,
passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 1998. Survived by loving sister, Laura
(Donald) DeSt.Jean of Griffith, IN.; one nephew, Derek DeSt.Jean of Griffith;
one aunt, Ruth Mahnke of Chicago, IL. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph
and Thelma Lange.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 1998 at 10 a.m. from the
Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 921 West 45th Ave., Griffith, IN. with Rev. John
Pollock officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
Mr. Lange was a graduate of Griffith High School. He served in the U.S.
Marines as a presidential guard at Camp David, and was a professional welder
working as an underwater welder throughout the world.
