About Me	Subsequent to graduating from Erie Community college I was employed by an Optical laboratory in Syracuse, NY and later worked for an Optometrist in Oneida, NY. I moved to New York City where I attended the SUNY College of Optomerty. After graduating in 1976 I was appointed to the faculty of the College. Served on the Faculty for 31 years holding the rank of Associate Clinical Professor of Optometry. During my tenure I taught a course in the optics of ophthalmic lenses and served as a clinical supervisor of interns and residents. I was presented with the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching and was named Alumni of the year in 2002. Retired 2007. My wife and I lived in Manhattan for 12 years before moving to New Jersey in 1987. We have traveled to several countries including Great Britain, Israel, the Canary Islands and Jamaica. Among several non-commercial aircraft, I have flown in I have flown in a Waco bi-plane and a WWII AT-6 Texan. Hopefully...(read more)
