About Me	Question the truth as you have been taught it. The test of any "system"...economic, health care....is how the weakest, poorest members of society are treated/benefit from the system. The powerful will always benefit. Have enjoyed teaching for 24 years and being married to my wife Cindy for 33 years. I have a wonderful son, Andy, who earned his degree in engineering at MSU and is employed by Fluke Industries, just outside of Seattle. Andy is now engaged to a marvelous gal from Lansing who is employed with Microsoft in Seattle. They will be married on September 15,l 2012, in Seattle. I am fortunate to have been able to live near Lake Michigan in beautiful Oceana County, Michigan for most of our married life, just a stone's throw from our family cottage where I spent many a summer while growing up. It's like being on vacation all the time! I have played bass and harmonica (blues, rock, country) for 20+ years, primarily with 3 different bands over that entire time...."Shades of Blue", "The Rocket Fuel Haulers", and "Classic Phoenix", all based in West Michigan. I have also sat in with various singer/songwriters, such as Mike Snell (played harp on his second CD) and Lou Thumser, both West Michigan artists. My newest "musical Journey" involves my newly acquired upright bass...baby blue in color.....I can finally get the sound that I have always wanted. Perh...(read more)
