About	George W. Beil, Jr age 67, of Indiana. Died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at his home. He was born in 1952 in Greenville to George W. Beil, Sr. and Martha Y. Callahan Beil. George was self-employed as owner and operator of the Indiana Skating Center for over 30 years. He then enjoyed working at Treasure Hunt for several years until he retired. In his free time he could be found boating, golfing and spending time with his many friends. Surviving is his wife of 21 years, Nancy Solinger Beil, Indiana; his father of Greenville; one sister Deborah Haines and husband Raymond, Warren; one brother Clifford Beil and wife Debbie, Helena, MT; two nephews, Gregory Haines and wife Melanie and son Arthur, Lincoln, MA; Erik Beil and wife Elizabeth, Missoula, MT. He was preceded in death by his mother. Due to the Corona Virus all services will be private and under the direction of the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. I was a classmate of George at IUP where we shared our difficult math homework. At my old age I started looking up obituaries of old college and highschool classmates. I couldn't remember how his last name was spelled. I thought it was spelled differently, so I didn't find his obituary until a couple years after he passed. Fortunately I remembered he attended Greenville Highschool and played basketball and found his yearbook picture. The rest of his info I found by looking up his tombstone. I also unintentionally had my name included in his yearbook login - unsuccessful at trying to change it. My apologies. He was such a nice guy. So sad to learn that he passed at such a young age, but good to know he lived a happy life.
