Friday, July 30th will be at Greenbo Lake State Park Dinner will be buffet style, which will include roasted round of beef and southern fried chicken, 3 vegetables and salads and desserts. Soda, water and coffee will be provided. (Alcohol will not be served, but you may bring your own) After dinner, the Party Doctor, Randy Hayes, will be entertaining us with music. And for those wanting to shake a leg, there will be a dance floor. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm and the music will begin at 7:30 pm. If you are interested in staying all night at the park, please contact Greenbo directly to reserve a room (606-473-7324 or 800-325-0083). Saturday, July 31st will be Family Day at Neil & Leslie Wright’s Farm Starting time will be 11:00 am. We plan on eating around 12:30 pm. A map to the farm will be available the night of the reunion. Please bring your own picnic items (food, drinks, plates, etc) and provide a dish to pass. There are camping sites available, as well as fishing and outdoor activities for the entire family. (Directions – Farm is located at RT. 1458 in between Rt. 2 and RT. 1 just 2 miles from Riverbend Golf Club 5 miles out of Greenup. There are camper hook ups, city water, 4 restrooms and showers, a large picnic shelter, swing sets, a stocked fishing pond and plenty of trails to have a short hike on. This is a private family based dry campground and anyone is welcome to stay there that weekend just let Neil know when you plan to show up so you can get hooked up. (606) 473-7971.) Dear Class of 89, Due to lack of interest and reservations it is with great regret that we have to cancel the 20 year reunion. The committee thanks those of you who sent your money and rsvp'd and those of you who stayed in contact with the committee during this process. Please allow 2 weeks for your refunds. If you do not receive your refund within that time please contact Tonja McCloud or Michelle Light and we will get it to you right away. Dear Class of 1989, Time has certainly flown by. Can you believe it has been twenty years? The reunion committee has worked hard in making sure this is going to be a great reunion for everyone. The date is set for June 27th, at The Brewery in Portsmouth, OH. Cocktails will begin at 5:00p.m. (There will be a cash bar), and dinner will be served at 6:00p.m. The Ribber is catering and the menu will consist of ribs or chicken, salad, and rolls. The cost is $23 per person or $46 per couple. Dress will be casual. Rooms have been reserved at the Ramada Inn at a discounted price of $72 + tax. The GCHS Class of 1988 will hold its 20th Reunion on the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd, 2008. Beginning the morning of Saturday, August 2nd, a Golf Scramble is being arranged for anyone interested in playing. Please contact Todd Montgomery at 606-932-6435 between 8AM and 8PM for cost and details or check out classmates.com. On 6:00 PM Saturday evening, we will hold a social hour at the Portsmouth Brewing Company at 224 2nd Street; dinner will be catered by the Scioto Ribber starting at 7:00. Music, dancing, and additional socializing will follow until midnight. (Pictures of the area posted on this site. We have the patio and an inside and outside area separate from the restaurant & bar.) The cost is $25.00 per person and reservations must be made by July 25th. On Sunday, August 3rd from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM a family picnic will be held at Flatwoods City Park.
