About	Jeffrey D. Denton, 45 of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on May 14, 2008 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. He was born on February 15, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of David Denton and Sonja (McNew) Ely. He attended the First Christian Church in Greensburg. He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1981 and then graduated from Purdue University in 1985 where he majored in agriculture economics. He worked for many years in landscape management. He most recently worked in banking and finance. He was married to Joyce G. Fogg on July 27, 1985 and she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Christopher, 17, Scott, 14; one daughter, Abigail, 10; parents and step-parents, David (Jody) Denton of Indianapolis, Sonja (Jim) Ely of Florida; grandmother, Irma McNew of Arizona; one sister, Kimberley (Cecil) Sammons of Florida; four step-brothers, Jeff (Linda) Hedges of Indianapolis, Steve (Cathy) Hedges of Plainfield, Jeff Ely of Texas, Kenny (Kristen) Ely of New Palestine; two step-sisters, Becky (Brian) Harlan of Greencastle, Karen (Mark) Hamrick of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 18 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 19 at the funeral home with Rev. Danny Wolford officiating. Memorials may be made to a trust fund for the children through the funeral home in lieu of flowers.
