I served in the Air Force initial active duty from 1980-1983 then joined the Reserve program. I was activated for Operations Desert Shield/Storm (1991) and then again for Operation Enduring Freedom 2003-2004. I retired in 2007.

I joined the Army shortly after graduation from GHS. I entered active duty on Aug. 14, 1969. I stepped foot on Vietnamese soil on Jan. 5, 1970. I served one tour in Nam and then served in Germany until I was honorably discharged on March 14, 1972.
