About Me	College: Grinnell College in Iowa. Served on the Student Educational Policy Committee for the English department, played intermural basketball, member of environmental organization, participated in theatre through acting and directing, obtained teaching license and student taught in Gilman, Iowa at East Marshall Middle School. In the summer of 2004 I moved to Denver, Colorado and started my first contracted teaching position at North High School. After three years, I made the move to John F. Kennedy High School, also in Denver. I teach IB English, and a variety of other English Lit courses to grades 9-12. I am also involved in political work, union work, many school committees, Book Club, the Gay Straight Alliance, Mock Trial, and whatever else the kids can convince me to do. I ...(read more)
