"William R. Pickrell, 49, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 4, 2013. Born in Akron, Ohio on March 24, 1964 to Kathryn J. and the late Jack F. Pickrell. After graduating from Green High School, Bill honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C. from 1983-1987. Bill enjoyed Harley Davidson's, NASCAR, but most important to him was family. He is survived by his partner of 15 years, Susan Peters; son, Andrew Pickrell of New Franklin; mother, Kathryn J. (Dixon) Pickrell; sisters, Rebecca Campbell and Penny Pickrell, all of Green; granddaughter, Kellee Pickrell of New Franklin; nephew, Robert (Jennifer) Campbell and children, Alyssa, Mykala and R. Conrad Campbell of North Carolina. He was also known as ""Grandpa Bill"" to Sue's nine grandchildren. Bill had a loving heart and will be greatly missed."
