| About Me | “For every minute you are angry you lose 60 seconds of happiness.” Ralph Waldo Emerson I have two beautiful children Lexi and Kaydance who are my life, my reason for living, my happiness. I am a firm believer in fate and that everything happens for a reason. However, I do believe that life is full of choices and you have the power to make the right one and you need to take responsibility for the choices you DO make. We’ve all had negative experiences in our lives, but blaming your past on the way you act in the present and future is just a cop out. It’s taken me a long time to figure that out and I still have my moments, but this is MY life and I choose to be happy. I just reached my dream of graduating from UNC with my Bachelors Degree in Human Services and a minor in Sociology. It was a very hard road, but I persevered and fought my way to the end. I believe that if you want something bad enough, NOTHING and NOONE will stop you from achieving it. I believe that honesty is the best policy and I would rather hear the truth than be lied to. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am very emotional, but I have learned to love these qualities about myself and if people can’t handle it or they don’t like it, than it really isn’t my problem. Life is too short to worry about what other people think about you, I am me, take it or leave it. I am a HUGE Michael Jackson fan, always have been, always will be.
