6/22/21: post on Facebook: With a heavy heart, we said goodbye to my father today. I can’t put many words into a thought at the moment. I always thought I was ready for this but, you can never prepare to feel the loss there is of someone who brought you into this world. It is still so surreal. You fought so hard and for so long.
