Favorite School Memory	There were many. Probably my most favorite memories were of hanging out during and after the football games, which I never actually watched.
About Me	I attended King's College and graduated in 1987, after completing my senior internship at the Washington, D.C. Bureau of CNN. I then immediately went on to grad school at the University of Maryland at College Park. While still in grad school, I accepted a position at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. I stayed at Goddard for 21 years, 15 of which I spent on the Hubble Space Telescope Program. I worked on the part of the program that built the new instruments for Hubble, trained the astronauts to service Hubble, and conducted the on-orbit servicing missions to Hubble. I just left Goddard in July 2008 to accept a position at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, still working on Hubble. (The Institute interprets the science data from Hubble.) I'm now a Senior Science Writer, and I'm looking forward to the last Shuttle mission to Hubble in October 2008. Outside of work, I bought a place in Columbia, MD back in 1996.
