About Me	Attended and graduated from Presbyterian St. Luke's School of Nursing in Chicago . Married Chester WIlliam Doan (Class of '60) in 1963 and divorced in 1972. We had two children. After the divorce I completed my BSn and MSN while working full time as a nurse and raising my family. I worked at Hadley Reginal Medical Center in Hays from 1964-1987 in various positions. The last position I held there was Assistant Director of Nursing Services. I joined the faculty at Fort Hays State University in 1987 and have worked up to Associate Professor of Nursing. Honors: Inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, certified in Ciritical Care Nursing, certified in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Certified as a Master Instructor of Denver II, Fuld Fellow in Rural Community Health Nursing, and served on a task force group for Rural Health Care in Kansas.
