About	Bruce L. Harders 1953 - 2008 GYPSUM â€” Bruce Lynn Harders, 54, of rural Gypsum, died March 6. He was born Aug. 11, 1953, in Great Bend. He married Sonya Ysolde Schwindt on Aug. 28, 1977, in Great Bend. He attended Barton County Community College and graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. He had been a resident director for Kansas Wesleyan from 1984 to 1991 and had worked at the Job Service Center, Salina. He loved Oklahoma University football and the womenâ€™s college basketball tournaments held at the Bicentennial Center. Survivors include his wife, of the home; his father, Marion Harders, Great Bend; a brother, Richard Harders and wife Opal, Hutchinson; a sister, Charlotte Wapelhorst and husband Paul, Great Bend; and two nieces, Jennifer Cochran and husband Kevin, Denver, Colo., and Shelly Harders; and a nephew, Ricky Harders. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Stoskopf Harders.
