David passed away on March 12, 1994, at home of a massive heart attack. He had been a cook in the navy and later worked at Vermont American until his death. He left behind a wife, Peggy Fentress Higdon, two sons, David Higdon, Jr. who now lives in Nashville and Jacob Higdon of Leitchfield.Jacob has two children whom He would had loved to been a part of their lives.
