About Event
The parade starts at 4pm Friday, 9th. If you wish to participate, meet at 3:30 across from city hall ( near the OLD lumberyard ). Let us know if you wish to walk. The organizers need to know how many will do this. A ride, in the parade, will be provided for those that can't make it to the High School. The Homecoming theme is Paradise, so wear a Hawaiian shirt!
Tours of the school begin after the parade. We need to know how many of you want to do this. The school needs a head count.
The varsity football game starts at 7pm. There will be an alumni tent, and we get in free. Again, the school needs to know how many will attend. Let us know.
Saturday, at 10am, will be a tour of the Historical Museum for Class of 72, coffee will served for those who may need it, Four galleries will be open and one will feature 75 years of GCHS.
Our main event will be at St Andrews church ( the White Church, at Park Ave and Lake St). It starts at 4pm Saturday and runs to 9pm. There is a $35 per person charge. Rosatis will cater this. This is different from previous notices. Once again, please let us know if you plan to attend. Checks may be made out to and sent to Dory Vanderspool, 106 Newport Trail, McHenry Il 60050. Memo: Class of 72 Reunion. You may pay at the door, but please notify us ahead of the Aug 15th date. You may also use Zelle at Dory's # 417-335-1418. It is linked to the GCHS reunion acct. 50 yr reunion t-shirts are also available. $12.00 for any size, please notify us if you would like one to celebrate our surviving this long!
Our past reunions have been fun. This one will be too! Hope to see you there!
