Hello fellow GHHS Class of 1973 Alumni! Our 50th reunion is approaching, APRIL 2023, and your reunion committee has been busy creating what we hope will be a memorable experience. Since your initial response was so encouraging we have booked a larger room so more classmates can participate. Please check out the registration form and get it to us before June 15, 2022.

So the reduced price date has passed as of June 16th. Now the cost is $100 per person. Please note that on the registration form. (I can't update that) As of this date we have 67 paid attendees. We went with the larger room that holds 128 but we may have to reconsider this at the end of this month if we don't hit the targeted numbers and go back to the smaller room which holds 80. So please help us make our decision by getting your reservation/ money in. It's a huge chunk of change if we don't hit the minimum amount required. The homecoming game date has been released... October 14 at GHHS and they play Grossmont . More details will follow about meeting up before the game. Thanks Cathy
UPDATE THINKING YOU WANT TO KNOW THE PROGRESS/PROCESS

So in 8 days we hit a total of 80 people (including some +1's) who asked to be put on the "SIGN ME UP LIST". We have now created a waiting list. There are 5 on it as of now. I've contacted the venue yesterday and a bigger room is still available that can accommodate 128 people .We have a 2 week hold on that room. If we can get 30-40 more people, then we can feel more confident booking it. It is a BIG financial commitment as it does cost 4K more for a total of 7k. That amount is made from the food expenses. Basically the room is free if we meet their minimum. (it does not count tax and service charges) We are trying to find/ notify as many of our classmates as possible to be able to make an informed decision.
At least the picnic the next day does not have a cap and there is no worry on that decision. Our 40th was a one day picnic at Santee Lakes if you recall with a Taco Cart. We felt offering 2 events would open it up to more classmates. So if you can help us, by letting us know if you are interested or not we would appreciate it. Spread the word. Thank you.

MARCH 10, 2022 FIRST NOTICE SENT OUT
Plans have been made for all EAGLES in the class of '73 to come back to the nest. We want to give you all plenty of time to mark it on your calendars and plan accordingly. Our reunion will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan from 6-10 pm. (our 20th was held here too) That area of East County has changed quite a bit. We will have a buffet dinner, appetizers, dessert, and a no host bar.
It will be followed by a PICNIC at Summers Past Farms in Flinn Springs on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 11 - 2:30. More details will follow but know that the venue we selected for Saturday night has a max of 80 people. Planning this event in April and so far in advance allows us to have considerable savings. The cost for Saturday night is in a range of $73 to $80 per person. Sunday's venue has been provided for by some donations. Please spread the word and if you know for sure that you would like to attend Saturday night (it will help with the planning) please let either me, Sherry, or Debbie know. More information will definitely follow. Anyone who wants to take on some duties....also let us know. Help is always appreciated.

We've contacted GHHS for the date of Homecoming 2022 in the fall thinking we could meet up at Pernicanos before the Friday night football game. As of now, they have not confirmed their football schedule. We will keep you posted. Visit this site periodically to get updates. There are many GHHS Facebook boards for this information too.
