About Me	Life is a wild ride. From birth to death so many thing happen. Some good and some horrible. After graduating I struggled with finding my way. I wend to LCC for a while but struggled to complete any sort of degree. I partied a little, ending up with two DUIs and jail time. Got married to my best friend. Had a son. Then we struggled with having our second child, but after lots of doctors visits and many miscarriages, our miracle boy was born. After that we like many young couples struggled financially. But we always had just enough to keep going. Life wasn’t too bad, until May of 2021. Our world was turned upside down. The boys were on there way home from school when I got the call that no parent should ever have to get. My oldest son, Judah, called me in a panic. Ki was just hit by a school bus. My heart sank! We only live a block and a half from the school how could this happen. I rush to the school getting there before any emergency services. There’s my baby boy face down in the middle of the intersection. God I could never wish what I saw or felt on even my worst enemy. Not even an hour later we are at Sparrow and the ER doctor is telling us he didn’t make it. Needless to say our lives changed at that point forever. There was never going to be those family trips with the 4 of us anymore, no more waking to the laughter of the boys watching tv in the mornings. Our family was destroyed. Probably the hardest thing a family can go through. Now a few years later life is a little different. We miss Malachi all the time but are moving forward waiting for that day when we will see him again. We have taken in Judah’s best friend Vincent as a new addition to the family, not replacing but, helping to fill some of that huge void that has been left now that Ki is gone.
