About | Erick J. Bohlman passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the age of 45, in his home at Crystal Lake, IL, surrounded by his wife, family, and friends. Erick was loved for his genuine smile, engaging personality, his kindness, and his strong character. He had a great sense of adventure and inspired those around him to enjoy life and each other. Erick was born on February 13, 1968. His parents are Bruce and Eunice Bohlman, and he had one sister, Susan (Susie). Erick grew up in Grand Forks, North Dakota, graduating from Central High School and the University of North Dakota. He later graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Erick started his own law firm, Bohlman Law Offices, P.C., in Crystal Lake. IL in 2004. He married the love of his life, Aimee Roth, in Chicago in 2000. The couple lived in Crystal Lake, IL, since 2004 with their beloved dogs, Seabiscuit and Smarty Jones. Erick is survived by his loving wife, Aimee; his parents, Bruce and Eunice Bohlman; his sister, Susie (and brother-in-law Robert) Griggs; his nephews and niece, Matthew, Joshua and Lauren Griggs; his uncles and aunts, Denis and Lynne Bohlman, Ardell and Elvira Sannes, and Lydell Sannes; his cousins Christy (Mike) Meyer, Amy (Jim) Rode, Steve (Laurene) Bohlman, and Joel Sannes; his foster brothers, Daniel (Samantha) Duong and Justin (Pholla)Trieu; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. A Memorial Service to celebrate Erick's life was held on September 21, 2013 at Arlington Park, in Arlington Heights, IL. Erick will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he will remain in our hearts forever. |
