About	Curtis John Lizakowski, 40, of Longmont, CO died unexpectedly Sunday, March 15, 2009 at his home in Longmont, CO. Curtis was born April 18, 1968 in San Diego, CA the son of Gerald and Catherine (Briskie) Lizakowski. He grew up and attended school in Grand Forks, graduating from Central High School in 1986. Shortly after high school he moved to San Jose, CA where he worked for Hewlett Packard. He met and married Deanna Ahern in 1997 and they made their home in San Jose, CA. They moved to Minneapolis, MN in 2001 where he worked for Berne Scale. Curtis moved to Niwot, CO in 2004 where he and his brother Jerry owned and operated Niwot Construction Company. Curtis was involved in Youth Hockey and enjoyed working out, fishing and skiing. He is survived his step children Matthew Ahern, of CA and Kristina Ahern of Linstrom, MN, parents Gerald and Catherine Lizakowski of Grand Forks, ND, 2 sisters Doris (Brian) Noreen of Canyon City, CO, Michelle (Peter) Jacobson of Berthoud, CO, 2 brothers, Jerry Lizakowski of Longmont, CO, Brian Lizakowski of Grand Forks, ND, his grandmother Florence Briskie, of Grand Forks, 5 nieces and 5 nephews. He is preceded in death by 2 grandfathers and 1 grandmother.
