Dodge City - Michael "Mike" James Terrian, 44, died March 1, 2013 at his residence surrounded by family and friends after a six month battle with esophagus cancer. He was born on June 7, 1968 at Grand Forks, ND the son of Wayne and MaryAnn (Schueler) Terrian.
Mike attended Grand Forks schools and graduated from Grand Forks Central in 1986. He then attended Northland Tech in Thief River Falls, MN for radio broadcasting. Michael then worked in Park Rapids, MN for several years. Mike then returned to Grand Forks where he worked several different jobs. He married Carla Rudolph on May 23, 1998 in Oakes, ND. They made their home in Fargo, ND and their daughter, Marissa Christine was born on July 12, 2000. While in Fargo, Michael worked for Swanson Health Products and Sports City. In 2004 they moved to Pierre, SD where he worked for Walmart. In 2008 their family moved to Dodge City where Mike worked for Walmart and Railcrew Express.
Michael is survived by his wife, Carla Terrian of the home; one daughter, Marissa Terrian of the home; his parents, Wayne and MaryAnn Terrian of Grand Forks, ND; one sister, Sherry (Jeff) Schiltz and husband Jeff of Hankinson, ND; his father-in-law, Roger Rudolph and wife Char of Glyndon, MN; one brother-in-law, Nicholas Rudolph and wife Lisa of Milton, WI; one aunt, Judy Pesek of Jamestown, ND; one uncle, Ronald Terrian; nephews, Matthew, Jonathan, Joshua, Michael, William, and Cole; nieces, Megan R., Kristin, Megan S., and Jenna; one cousin, Jake; along with many aunts and uncles through marriage.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother-in-law, Teresa Rudolph.
