THE REV. LEA ELISABETH AUSTEN
The Rev. Lea Elisabeth Austen, 71, of Germantown, MD, passed away on October 28, 2014 due to complications from open-heart surgery. She was a retired United Methodist minister and served several congregations including Covenant United Methodist Church, Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, and others. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Vocino and husband Loren Tarquinio; her brother, Bruce Carter; her granddaughter, Lucy, and many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lea's memory may be made to any Humane Society
