| About Me | Since leaving Granada in 1976, I served in the US Navy from 1976-1980. I then worked as a carpenter while attending college in Tacoma, WA. I earned an AA in computer science at Knapp College of Business. I started my career in Information Systems, working for companies such as GNA Corp, GE Capital, Regence, Washington Mutual, and Kern Health Systems. Kern Health Systems had me working in Bakersfield, CA, for nine years. I then moved back to Tacoma, WA, where I decided to downsize my career as I looked forward to retirement. I worked as a maintenance worker for Reeder Management. This had me doing apartment fixes and turns (prep for re-rent). I did this for eight years and have now moved into a facility maintenance role with Classy Chassis. At 67, my retirement goal is at age 70. These last two jobs keep me active and in shape.
