I am an aicraft fuel systems mechanic which means i get to go inside the fuel tanks and change parts and fix leaks. I spent my first 7 years working the U-2S which is a spy plane. I was then selected to do technical data(the manuals to fix the airplanes) verification for the Global Hawk program(they are unmanned spy planes.) I am currently working F-15 fighters at Mountain Home AFB, ID

I served 7 years on active duty and another 6 years in the National Guard and Army Reserves. I was in three branches, Quartermaster, Field Artillery and Signal. Supply and Small Arms Repairer, FIST and Nuclear Surety Security, Computer Repairer. I was stationed at Ft. Polk, LA, Ft. Lee, VA (1974), Ft. Sill, OK , Ft. Carson, CO (1975-1976), Wiesbaden Air Base, FRG (1976-1980), Ft. Gordon, GA (1980-1981). After a 17 year break in service I re-enlisted into the ARNG for 6 months and then transferred to the Army Reserves for the remainder of my enlistment. I was stationed at Ft Baker, CA, Camp Parks, CA, Ft. Hunter-Ligget, CA, RFTA Nashville and RFTA Gray, TN. I separated all of my enlistments honorably and I separated as a Sergeant (E-5). I was schooled trained in 4 different military occupational specialties, plus 4 more awarded by OJE which I was able to apply to my civilian work career. Overall it was a great experience despite the injuries and the usual hardships. I thank all of my fellow alumni veterans. Thank you for your service. May God bless America.

Our Granada High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
