About	Joyce passed away on November 19, 2017 in El Cajon, California from complications due to dementia from a stroke she had suffered in 2002. After high School Joyce attended Macalester College, and graduated from San Diego State College. She was a teacher for several years, and became a high school guidance counselor in 1969 at El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California. She retired in 1985, and spent her retirement traveling with her husband Bill Hardin, and enjoying the company of her many friends.
